MODIFICATIONS FOR CHANNEL ISLANDS

For a number of years VLS have been modifying vehicles to comply with the Channel Island width and length regulations.

Modifications involve supplying used UK specification chassis cab then altering their maximum widths to 2310mm (Guernsey) and 2300mm (Jersey), altering vehicle wheel base to customer requirements and building customer specified body requirements including flats, tippers, beaver tails, drop sides, scaffold and box vans.

Other modifications include total vehicle refurbs where vehicles can be collected from the island, brought into our workshops where we replace or repair any damaged/worn items, give a total repaint, valet and then return back to island with new body work if required (See Gallery for images).

Once all modifications are complete all vehicles are serviced to include oil and filter changes, undergo a vehicle safety inspection to VOSA standards and a total vehicle repaint to customers livery, including decals if required.
Once all the above is complete the vehicle goes through a valet/PDI and delivered to port for shipping to customer.

The pictures above are 4 previously built vehicles and many more can be seen in the Gallery or by getting in contact.
